What are your hours?
- Our regular school day is from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM.
- Our extended day option is from 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM.
What ages do you accept for admission?
- Currently our school is age 30 months through 1st grade.
- Students in our PK2 class, must be 30 months old by September 1.
- Students in the PK3 class must be 3 years old by September 1 and potty-trained.
- We will offer a 1st grade class in the 2024-2025 school year.
Where are you located?
- Our campus is located on 11 picturesque acres on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay in Baldwin County. Precisely, we are located at 860 North Section Street, just a few miles north of downtown Fairhope, Alabama.
Where do I begin with the admissions process?
- The online application is the first step in the process.
What is the student: teacher ratio?
- Our student teacher ratio is 4:1.
Does St. James offer a foreign language?
- Yes. We offer Spanish to all students.
What are the uniform guidelines?
- Uniforms are worn by all students and are purchased through Zobhgy's Uniforms in Daphne, AL.

Do we offer lunches?
- Catered lunches are offered 3 days a week from restaurants like Chicken Salad Chick, Chick fil-A, and Papa John's.
- We have an online ordering system and payment can be made online or by check in the school office.
