St. James Episcopal School is located in the picturesque city of Fairhope, Alabama, and is the only Episcopal school on the Eastern shore of Mobile Bay. In response to the increasing need for quality education in the fastest-growing county in the state, the school opened its doors in August of 2018. With a Christian education building sitting largely unused during the school week, we felt we had an ideal space to help meet the needs of our community and share the benefits of an Episcopal education. What began as a preschool with 17 students has grown to nearly 100 students in just six years. We are enrolling for Pre-K2 through First grade for the 2024-2025 school year..

We provide a traditional school day with extended care options, as well as summer camp for children ages 30 months through third grade. Children have the opportunity to explore and learn in our fresh, engaging classrooms, and throughout our beautiful campus, set on 11 acres of idyllic landscape.
